Katharina Schindler

Biography

Katharina Schindler is a partner at Schindler Attorneys, with her practice being focused on corporate and private client matters. Her corporate expertise is mainly dedicated to shareholder disputes, M&A transactions and intra-group reorganizations, most of which have a cross-border element. In her estate planning mandates she is often acting for entrepreneurs and family businesses. In recent years, Katharina also put emphasis on art law, which is an area where she is advising collectors, galleries and museums. She also acts as a junior partner at Phileas, a philanthropic organization funding contemporary art and serves as a board member of the “Patrons Circle” at Leopold Museum in Vienna.

She is admitted to the bar both in Austria and Germany. Before joining the firm, Katharina worked for leading Austrian law firms. Katharina holds a law degree from the University of Passau and received a certificate degree in art law from the Sigmund Freud Private University of Law.
